The Studio.

Spindrift Weaving Studio is located in a small valley   at the foothills of the spectacular Victorian Alps, The Studio specializes in the creation of unique hand woven articles,  Scarves, Shawls, Bags, Accessories, Rugs, Wall hangings & Decor. Visit and observe the weavers at work and learn about the various looms used from the simplest to the historic Jacquard . Hear about the history of textiles and weaving through the centuries.

Spindrift's Principal Weavers ;                                                              David Beckworth                                                                        Ian McKinnon   Spindrift Weaving was created as an extension of our  Cashmere goat and coloured sheep flock. Weaving is now the main interest, only having a handful of animals  remaining. I have a Dip. Technical Teaching and a  Dip. Arts. (visual art) having studied textiles and visual  design. Working mostly on eight shaft designs            Associate Spinners / Weavers.             Sally Martin     I have been hand weaving for over 20 years and have a background   in the textile industry. Qualified to weave with dobby and Jacquard   looms.
